Second Season Storyline

After six month leap after the shootout 5 new interns enter while one of the old interns Nikita becomes resident doctor and Atul fails and has to repeat his internship. He hides this fact from the new interns out of embarrassment, but he soon reveals it. He then passes his retest and becomes a doctor. The rest of the interns have passed internship and are no longer in Sanjeevani. The second season introduces 5 new interns : Dr. Siddhant Modi, Dr. Tamanna Patil, Dr. Naina Mehta, Dr. Yuvraj Singh and Dr. Jitendra Prasad. Dr. Riddhima Gupta has returned to Sanjeevani starting January 1st 2010 and the mystery of the old interns will be revealed.

New Interns

Dr. Siddhant Modi - A smart and spoilt brat from a filthy rich NRI family. Everybody is a doctor in his family, so he has been sent to India to get real and focused. But for Sid life is a one big PS3 game. He is never serious about anything in life and has a general disregard for everything. He and Tamana didnt get along when they first met just like Armaan and Ridhima but he falls in love with her. He didn't want to become a doctor as it takes a lot of hard work. A complete gadget freak wants to get out of this filth and go back to his high life in Houston. Sid loves to flirt but will never commit, he is an overgrown temperamental kid. The shrew who needs to be tamed. But he is capable of being brilliant because with minimal effort he does well. He is the cousin of Senior Dr. Abhimanyu Modi.He bears slight similarities with Armaan (when Armaan joined Sanjeevani) Quite of a casanova . Considers himself very good- looking and is quite snobbish . He is quite daring . He is also in depth , a nice guy. He is still getting over Tamnana another intern because she got married and left sanjeevani, he is always arguing with Dr Ridhima because he by aicident touched her and she slapped him, now he wants to ruin Dr Ridhimas career .But he forgot about that and wanted to help Ridhima find Armaan but Ridhima got sick so Sid used body heat but Ridhima accuses him of rape. Dr. Tamanna Patil - A girl with middle class moralities. She is focused on her career and doesn't get distracted. She is the reliable and responsible daughter of her parents. Tamanna has a high sense of justice, is simple yet smart, sensitive and compassionate. She is the star of her chawl. She is always seen in salwar kameez with distinct style and look. On her rests the hopes dreams of her family.She is to be in love with Sid as well but can not speak infront of her father this way that she is get married to Anakeh. She is very emotional though sid has lied to her many times and she is not in the mood of meeting or thinking he is her friend but deeply she loves himas much as he does. She is also very sensitive and righteous and bears slight similarities with Riddhima .She has left sanjeevani because she got married and she broke up with sid. Dr. Naina Mehta - Naina is from a rich but orthodox Gujju family and is the youngest of six siblings. But she is not the one to compromise on anything -she'll work her way around all stuff. She is a convincing and a shameless liar, but does not to hurt anyone. Her parents want to arrange her marriage but she is interested in her career.

She always maintains a dual identity leaving home wearing a salwar kameez and transforming into spaghetti straps and minis. Always high on energy and life like a firebrand and bindaas. Is a chatterbox and is quite street - smart. Loves trying out new things and experimenting. She has a point to prove to herself which makes her rebellious in a positive way.

When she first meets Yuvi she hates him and his over confident attitude. But as time goes by she falls DEEPLY in love with him and his attitude attracts her even more. Yuvi is only trusting her for keeping his secrets. Naina but does not know that she is being used by Yuvi. Thats what you call blind love. She has confessed to yuvi on the episode on 12/23/09 but this is not yet givin that Naina likes a guy who is using her. But sooner Yuvi will realize of how ridiculous he was being using Naina.She now admitted to Yuvi that she loves him and he loves her too . Character played by Neha Jhulka

Dr Yuvraaj Singh - He is a middle class boy with a modern outlook. Has the responsibility of his family on him with a working mother and a younger sister. Life for him is a series of discoveries. He is serious and focused and believes that medical practice is not only a science but also an art.

He has a wicked sense of humor full with one liners and wise cracks. Always takes stands and has opinions making him the most balanced and matured person amongst all the other interns. You can always put your money on his future. He goes on to become Dr Shashank's proxy guy - but little does anyone know. What he has shown is his brother is in the mental hospital. The way he got in the mental hospital was because of something Shashank did and is out to take revenge on him...watch out! Though he uses Naina to get to him at the same he feels bad for Naina because she is deeply in love with him and he is getting afeeling that he should't do that but whenever he looks back at his brother there always that fire in him that makes him use Naina again, He doesnt hate Dr Shashank anymore thanks to Naina now he loves Naina alot . Season 1 Characters

Dr Shashank- He is still the head of Sanjivani and very happy that his daughter Ridhima is back. He was the one that kept Armaan away from Ridhima by keeping him captive somewhere so Ridhima is mad at him and doesnt consider him her father anymore

Dr Ridhima- She is back at Sanjivani and she cannot stand intern Siddarth Modi. She misses her finance armaan who died and now she is quite stone hearted. Turns out Armaan is alive and Dr Shashank had kept him away from Ridhima. So she is mad at and doesnt condider him her father. While looking for Armaan with Sid but Ridhima got very sick that could have killed her but Sid had to body heat and she accusing Sid he raped her

Dr Atul

Atul had to repeat his internship because his hand got shot, he was in love with Anjali, he still is but she left to go to america, his best friend armaan died, which he is very upset about.

Dr Nikita Malholtra

She is now a residential doctor and very strict, she broke up with Dr Abhi because his wife came back but she still loves him

Dr Abhimunyu Modi

He is still working for Sanjivani his cousin Sid is an intern at the hospital and he is Sids gaurdien while he is in India. He is still in love with Dr Nikita but his wife came back so they broke up but he doesnt love his wife, he loves Nikita

People are thinking that Dr Ridhima and Intern Sid might become a couple because they do look good together but they are always fighting but they both share something same and that is there both getting over their previous lovers, Ridhima is getting over Armaan who died, Sid is getting over Tamana who got married. So will they be a good couple, i dont know, you be the judge. Turns out Armaan is alive, he has been captive by Dr Shashank. Ridhima and Sid have been looking for him but Ridhima got very sick so to save her life he had to use body heat but she is accusing him of rape which is wrong to the viewers
